Hi!
Here are some photos of my Raven X. The one above shows the wing in it's wing bag inside my garage - it's the long black object on the right hand side, suspended by the white rope at the front.
As I hurt my back lifting the trike onto the trailer last week, I have not been able to get the wing out and rig it, nor fully remove the covers from the trike unit. I have done my best to show the trike unit from all angles.
The next photo shows the extra tank fitted below the rear seat. Combined with the main tank this should give about 45 litres fuel capacity.
This next photo shows the fuel filter bowl, air intake filter, etc.
That's a Newton prop below. As you can see, the varnish has been waethered and started to peel at the hub. There is green algae on the suspension tubes, but that should clean off OK. Some of the exposed nuts, washers and perhaps bolts will probably need replacing due to corrosion.
As you can see below, the yellow stripe in the side skirt has been stained by slight fuel spillage when refueling the underseat tank. Should clean up OK.
The big black circular object below is the starter mechanism for the pull start. Although I have a starter motor which should fit this engine, I suspect there is not enough room on this particular aircraft.
The starter mechanism again - not enough room this side either.
There is slight water staining on the seats - the white marks. I think they'll clean OK.
There is a fair amount of surface rust on the exhaust. I have a spray can of exhaust paint which should fix this.
There is a Silva compass fitted to the front strut. Luckily, this has it's own cover which has protected it from the weather.
Main tank with fuel contents site gauge.
Hope this helps. Many thanks to everyone showing an interest in this aircraft, and especially all the bidders!
Happy bidding! Best wishes, Nick
